Appropriate laboratory testing or imaging based on presentation and/or pharmacologic treatment is discussed along with determining treatment choices based on diagnoses, symptomology, and/or historical findings. This is the first half of the lecture, which covers topics including Mood Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, Schizophrenia and Other Psychotic Disorders, and Trauma and Stressor-Related Disorders. This lecture has a second half, which continues on in Psychiatry Review, Part 2.
